Every Internet marketer should always focus their advertising strategies to growing a massive and responsive list of subscribers. Having a strong list building system has proven time and time again to be the number one most steady and most reliable money making technique for every Internet marketing business.
I don’t care what type of business model you’re currently in, if you are not working on improving your email list building strategies, you’re loosing out on hordes of residual income. Today on this blog, I’m going to go over a secret list building strategy of “De-Personalization” and why this technique increases opt-in rates for every email marketing campaign, as a result.
Your first objective in listbuilding is getting that email address. You need a fast and simple system for your potential customers and prospects to join your newsletter or mailing list.
Without that email address, no amount of techniques and strategies you implement will ever matter. Without an email address, there’s no way to continue marketing and promoting to that same customer, after they leave your website.
Too many marketers want to add to their landing pages and opt-in boxes. They ponder how to improve their SEO and search engine ranking. They conjure new products, eBooks, or reports for their Internet traffic. But this list building strategy is not about what you can add to your squeeze page, instead this tip is about what to take away.
More of the top marketers are implementing this one technique. I’ve actually seen this marketing tactic done many times now, but nowhere is this strategy advertised.
What I recommend is removing the “name field” and ONLY require their email address during optin.
I can hear the raves of comments now, “How are we going to personalize the emails?” But I’m telling you, it’s over-rated.
TOO MANY marketers try and personalize their emails, and it’s LOST its effect, resembling more like spam, looking for those sales, “Hey Alex, I Got Something To Show You…”
You’re not on a first name basis with your subscribers, your prospects know this, so don’t imply it.
As a result of taking out this field, your potential subscribers now have one less field to fill out, thus making it easier to opt-in.
This little change has PROVEN to increase opt-in rates.
So get off of Twitter and implement this simple list building strategy today, you won’t be sorry.
